Summary/Abstract: Exports of capital goods and construction of capital projects abroad against credit arrangements has been a regular practice in Yugoslavia ever since 1959. Up to 1968, the bulk of credits was extended on the basis of inter-state credit arrangements concluded between foreign governments and the Yugoslav Government. Federal allocations earmarked for the purpose were placed at the disposal of the Yugoslav Foreign Trade Bank, which was until 1967 the only agency authorized to conclude such arrangements.
