Summary/Abstract: Constitutional Amendment XV, adopted by the Federal Assembly in December 1969, enabled working people to determine for themselves the structure and relations of self-management in their enterprises in accordance with the specific features and conditions of operation. This amendment meant the end of uniform organization of workers’ self-management in enterprises, as laid down by the Constitution of 1963. The practical implementation of this amendment to date has resulted in a great diversity of organizational forms in individual enterprises.
