Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the positive and negative identification of non-prepositional accusative of syntactic nouns in Czech and also with the identification of surface syntactic function of object and adverbial of time, measure/distance and manner morphologically expressed by non-prepositional accusative. The identification procedure is formulated as a number of statements that can be implemented in a rule-based module of morphological disambiguation and in a rule-based parsing of Czech texts.
