Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on changeing the value system of cancer patiens. The emphasis is on the role of psychological assistance for adaptatio to another life. Thе lack of psychologists in most cancer centers hampers in the integration of the disease. The fact is that the consultant psychologist is usefull for patiens during their treatment. The article presents how psychological counseling contributes to improving the quality of life of patiens with cancer.
