Summary/Abstract: Manuscript RC 4 from the Silesian Museum in Opava is a very interesting musical source from the first half of the fifteenth century not previously subjected to scholarly description and crucially enhances our knowledge of the musical culture of Central Europe during the first half of the fifteenth century; it also brings many new observations to research into the work of Petrus Wilhelmi de Grudencz. In order to fully evaluate its significance, however, further research is necessary.
