Summary/Abstract: The Second Conference of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia was held in Belgrade on January 25, 26 and 27, 1972. The basic items on the agenda were: (a) the Development and Current Tasks of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia; (b) the Socio-Economic Situation and the Tasks of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia. The present article contains the most important passages from the Action Program — a document adopted by the Conference, and parts of the introductory and concluding speeches made by the League’s President, Josip Broz Tito.
