Summary/Abstract: Text-books and other manuals for schools teaching in the languages of ethnic minorities are produced by three special publishing houses: the Provincial Office for the Publication of Text-Books of the Socialist Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Novi Sad (founded in 1966), the Provincial Office for the Publication of Text-Books and Teaching Aids of the Socialist Autonomous Province of Kosovo, Priština (founded in 1969; from 1962 to 1969 it operated as a department of the Republican Office for the Publication of Text-Books), and the Republican Office for the Publication of Text-Books and Teaching Aids of the Socialist Republic of Serbia, which also publishes text-books in Bulgarian for members of this ethnic minority.
