Summary/Abstract: In first plan of our research is the area of district Salts during the Middle Ages.However,in work entail the question of mutual relations of salt and Usora. Namely, in the second decade Usora XII century is expressed feudalization, which for consequence have regionalization (partition) Usora. Basically, this partition is in a long period of ti me for consequence have a transformation of smaller units into larger. As we have emphasized the aim of our research is the District of Salt, which in the late Middle Ages, split into two smaller districts: Upper and Lower Salt.But from our analysis we can pull out the conclusion that in the salts have distinctively center of the Bosnian medieval. In Lower Tuzla in today’s downtown, Ottoman sources record Agac-Hisar (wooden fort). There were found the grave goods and written evidence of the stolen property show us a strong economic ti es with this region, but also the luxuries of the local nobility. However, due to the embargo of exploitation of salt during the Middle Ages the conclusion that here is expressed estate royal dynasty.When we talk about the district Upper Salts his center that is a medieval city, is located east of the village on top of today’s settlements above Varoši (urban settlements), on top a sloping hill that is today called the City. On existence of an old castle here indicate the remains of earth holes and some fragments of earthenware.The city was protected by a fence of wooden stakes, so-called palisades. This would,at the same ti me, and a sign of his great age.So, although this area is on the outskirts of major political events, which we do not have a written data, though it bring all attributively the Bosnian medieval with distinct velvety economic and other ties with other region.
