Summary/Abstract: The changes in social-political life in Bulgaria in the last years motivate the emergency of new means of expression mainly lexis and more scarcely phraseology, in the language of publicism, the public speech, advertising and even in everyday communication. Object of research in this article are new phraseological units in Bulgarian language, among which - yes but no and the top of the ice-cream. The history of their emergence is being traced and are quoted data about their authorship. It is being analysed the spontaneous process of transformation of the indicated expressions in the speech of famous journalists from an individual mean of expression into lingual units. Place is given also to phraseologisms with unknown authorship, such as: fat necks - rich criminals, bandits and mr. 10 percents - corrupted, highofficial, and a count is given on the lingual taste, the actuality of the images over which they are build, their bright and negative assessment about people and phenomena of contemporary Bulgaria - factors about their fast phrasiologisation and distribution in speech as instrument for secondary nomination.
