Summary/Abstract: Yugoslavia’s rapid economic development has brought about considerable changes in the countryside, both in living habits and the formation and distribution of income of private farmers and their households. There has been a steady increase in their requirements for goods and services characteristic of daily consumption in industrial centers and urban areas, and in their educational, health care and other needs.
