Summary/Abstract: The Socialist Alliance of the Working People of Yugoslavia had maintained close relations with Uganda’s liberation movement, as with other such movements in the former colonial possessions and non-independent territories in Africa. Relations were first established with the Uganda National Congress (UNC) and later with the Uganda People’s Congress. In addition to giving it full moral and political support, the Socialist Alliance assisted the Ugandan national liberation with direct material aid.
