Summary/Abstract: The assessment of the competitive position can answer the question what are the competitive advantages and disadvantages of the company at that time. The results could be useful for the selection of priority areas for action by the company management. In this study an assessment of competitiveness by selected indicators of two of the largest Bulgarian telecom operators - Mobiltel and BTC, was made. There is a comparison of labor productivity levels, financial indicators (return on equity ratio, current ratio, financial autonomy ratio, financial autonomy indicators); indicators of company growth (revenue increase, increase of the relative market share in relation to the main competitor, fix assets increase, staff increase). The results could be useful for the selection of priority areas for action by the company management.
