Summary/Abstract: Abstract: As the criminal activity grew more and more sophisticated by using advanced communication techniques, the legal system had to accept the employment of some phone calls interception and recordings together with other communication media, especially for crimes where evidence couldn’t be obtained otherwise. Technical surveillance is a complex area of activity, which has developed step by step, in time, together with the need to update laws and specific methods following the trends of society and technology but also of criminality environment.
