Summary/Abstract: This study is a philosophical and theological journey in theimaging of the Genesis. It stops on the first day of creation, which is therichest in meanings and symbolic images as it reflects the creation of anenigmatic world, namely the spiritual world, the world of celestialhierarchies. The light is associated with the creation of angels, and theseparation of the light from the darkness is understood as theseparation of good angels from bad ones and, starting from here, anentire philosophy is developed. Starting from this theme, another ideadetaches, namely the imaging of the fall of angels or even thecoronation of Lucifer. The compositions depict extremely well thewestern medieval teachings, which were impregnated with Saint Augustine's train of thought and theology.
