Ethical Aspects of Development and the Provision of Products of Internet Culture

Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the phenomenon of the internet culture, its spread and what characterizes the development of its products. It shows that by using various sources, the internet facilitates the development of products of Internet culture. Nevertheless, the internet aggravates the observance of personal and intellectual property rights. The articles also consider the ethical requirements for the Internet user by outlining the limits and responsibility of his expression in the network. The article analyzes the ethical and economic aspects of violations of copyright and intellectual property rights in the development of online cultural products and their distribution. The article concludes that the rules of internet ethics, based on the cultural norms of individual behaviour online, can be effective only to the extent that the average user will be willing to accept and follow them. Education is necessary for that.
