Summary/Abstract: In the context of free movement of workers ensured within the European Union, the most important aspect to be analyzed is the one related to the recognition of the professional qualifications. This thesis focuses on the general legal framework regulating this aspect, following its transposition into the Romanian internal law, but also on the presentation of a few practical aspects that occurred in its correct application.
