Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on identifying the most important of the burnout's psychosocial determinants. For this area of research relevant studies were used to obtain an exploratory investigation. The relationship between psychosocial characteristics of people with burnout syndrome or recurrence was evaluated based on the studies reported. For this purpose literature was identified using Medline and Psyinfo therefore a number based meta-analysis of eleven qualitative studies.
