Tendency to the migration of young people on the example of Oborniki Śląskie town - potential implications for local developmen

Summary/Abstract: In the article the authoress described a problem of the mobility of young people (18 to 35 years old). The aim of the publication is to check what the perspectives of development in Oborniki Śląskie town are in relation to the migration of the youth and to compare this problem with the global and country trends. The article is divided into three parts: a description of some theories of migration and global trends of migration; a presentation of the migration of young people in selected countries and an analysis of the results of own research and conclusions that are based on the results of research which has been conducted among high school students in Oborniki Śląskie town. The last part consists of a critical analysis of the literature and statistical data. Situation, which is described in article proved that the migration of the youth is very important problem in many place on the all world. Many negative consequences for local economy in Oborniki Śląskie town are effects of the migration of the young people and the aging society. At the same time, hypothesis, that women are more mobility than men is be true. In the future, perspective of the economy development in Oborniki Śląskie town can be endangered, like in an examples, which are described in the article.
