Summary/Abstract: This contribution is merely onestep in an ambitious project to write a histo-ry of the Bulgarian literary space. It is a firstattempt to grasp the “fabric” of the nationalliterary canon in the nineteenth century,which presents my first research concerningthese “leftovers” that are the texts writ-ten in Armenian, Ladino and Turkish in theBulgarian literary space, from the end of thenineteenth century to the end of the twenti-eth century.
