Summary/Abstract: The principle of the accessoriness and participation of the population of the basic territorial units in the international cooperation is one of the stones of the European integrations. The Author points at the phenomenon of the glocalizacion which appears at the end of the XX century, which represents local consequences of the globalization. The article presents the attempt of pointing out the most important phenomena that brought to the implementation of the Europe in Polish communities (different forms of the local community activities, overall economic, cultural and social processes). The intention of the Author consist of the short representation of the usage of the EU monetary funds in Polish communities. Territorial self-government in Poland has been reconstructed twenty years ago and the integration of the local self-government with the partners from European Union greatly facilitadeted the way of the Poland Republic towards European Community. The crucial factor for Europeanization of the Polish communities, certainly, was the signiface of distribution of the Union’s funds and their use, especially after 2004, when Poland became a member of the EU.
