Summary/Abstract: Many innovations and inventions have been realized since 1892, when Charles-Emile Reynaud presented the first animation to the screen. In the development of animation, the development of computer technology has created significant effects. In 1995, the first full-length feature film "Toy Story", which is all computer animation, is a milestone in this context. Pixar studios have developed and used their own custom software for this animation. These hardwares and softwares, which are difficult to reach for the end user in the period they were made, are now more easily accessible. Nowadays, there are many studios like Dreamworks, Pixar, Illumination Entertainment which are fully focused on animation. Each studio has added new stages and technologies to their production processes to present the characteristics of their animations better. This study, aims to help to develop this method, which is technologically accessible nowadays, and provide reference informations for further studies through giving information about technology and processes of today's animation studios via literature and visual screening methods.
