Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to present the impact of the tariff preferences granted to Ukraine by the European Union under the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA), on Poland’s agri-food imports from Ukraine. The analysis was carried out on the basis of unpublished data of the Ministry of Finance and data coming from the Eurostat-Comext. The research shows that tariff preferences granted to Ukraine under the DCFTA were in the form of duty-free import of over 80% of agri-food tariff lines and duty-free quotas for the rest of tariff lines. Granting of such preferences contributed to an increase in Poland’s imports from Ukraine of some products, mainly tomato and apple concentrates, honey, tomatoes, cucumbers, cereals (wheat, barely, corn), frozen raspberry and blueberry as well as sweets.
