Financial Safety Net Institutions in Poland from the Perspective of Financial Instruments to Ensure Financial Stability

Summary/Abstract: The security and stability of the financial system is a special good of each country. It secured the most important role played by institutions financial safety net, which includes its range of institutional finance ministry, central banks, financial market supervision system and deposit guarantee. The article describes the shape of the financial safety net in the banking system in Poland. The Polish National Bank, Financial Supervision Commission and the Bank Guarantee Fund instruments were described in respect of the stability of the banking system. The study also included functions (instruments) and of the Committee of Financial Stability as a collective body set up to ensure cooperation and coordination between the financial safety net institutions to support and maintain the stability of the domestic financial system.
