Germany’s Place in the Multipolar World of Economy and Finance

Summary/Abstract: Significance of the German economy and finance as one of the pillars of the European Union cannot be underestimated. Germany, the main payer of the EU, is without doubt the leading “locomotive” and one of the main foundations of the European economy’s development. Germany, the leading state of the EU, “geo-economic semi-hegemon”, is among the richest countries in the world. The authors analyse in this article the newest trends in the development of German economy and finance.
