Summary/Abstract: This publicationis the second one, dedicated to thedevelopment and standardization of a new instrument – Questionnaire measure of self-stigma of mental illness. In thefirstpublication (Джалев и Ферчева, 2015) it was presentedthe development of the pilotform of the questionnaire, examination of its scale structureandpsychometric properties on the subscale and scale level. This articleis focused onthe standardization ofthe questionnaire. It is pesentedthe assignment of the items to the subscalesas well as dataabouttheir orientation in measurement of self-stigma. In order to determine adequatelythe within-group norms, a preliminary studyof between-groupdifferences was conducted on the basis eight socio-demographic and individualcharacteristics, observedin thepilot studyon a sample of 252 mentally illpersons. As within-group norms for self-stigmaof mental illness were calculated means (M) andstandard deviations (SD) of the scoresofthe groups, formedbythese characteristics, for eachsubscaleand for the totalscale. Such normswere calculated forthosesubgroups, berween whicha substantial difference was observed, determined by a complexcriterion. It includes thestatistical significanceof the result, its effect size and the power of the test. Wherethere was no differenceoritdoes not meet thecomplexcriterion, norms are calculatedbased on datafor the whole sample. In the appendix the Questionnaire measure of selfstigma of mental illness is added.
