Summary/Abstract: The article “Legal issues of rental contract validity in case of change of the residential premises owner” is created to to reflect the existing problems in scope of residental premises tenancy related to validity of rental contract in case of change of the residential premises owner. The article discusses issues related to legal regulation applicable in case of change of the residential premises owner. The article discusses general and special legislation in scope of residential premises tenancy in Latvia.The article identifies causes of issues related to validity of rental contract in case of change of the residential premises owner. The article discusses issues related to rental contract entry in Land Register.
