Exchange rate EUR/PLN on quotations based on the National Bank of Poland in the years 2005-2015

Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of this article is to present the weighted average exchange rate of the euro compared to the Polish zloty based on quotations of the Polish National Bank in the years 2005-2015. In addition, the aim is to broaden the messages on the exchange rate, its development and the importance of the economy and society. The purpose is also to discuss the theory, the results of analysis and factors affecting the weighted average exchange rate. Furthermore, the author wants to provide a reader with euro currency and the principles on which it is accepted in countries belonging to the European Union. Moreover, the target is aimed at a transparent presentation of the exchange rate EUR/PLN in the years 2005-2015, so the increases and decreases in the graphs and tables can be clearly explained to a recipient. The author presents and explains the meaning of the exchange rate, which is crucial in this publication, refers to the explanation of the function of the currency of the European Union and interprets the changes in the world economy.
