Summary/Abstract: The Councils of Workers’ Delegates (RDR), that ware established at dawn of polish independence, ware in this period of new state’s organisation a political centres with varying influence on local com-munities. The Piotrkow RDR was formed in January 1919. The few sources prescripted to date do not speak much about its activities, which soon began to diminish as a result of conflict between the So-cialists and the Communists. Although the council was active until the early 1920, the first weeks of its operation saw an initial weaken-ing followed by a fall. This short material is intended to systematise knowledge about the Piotrkow RDR and to evaluate its activity. Alt-hough the council did not play a greater role in the region, it was briefly part of his political life.
