An attempt to read the description of creation performatively (Gen 1–2, 4)

Summary/Abstract: Focusing on the first couple of verses in Genesis (Gen 1–2:4), one can discover its amazinglyperformative character. The Word of God is creative and has effective power; it can be subject to theanalysis of performative utterances by Austin, which seems to stress its significant character.Reading this text in light of deconstruction theory by Derrida leads us onto the path of fully performativeinterpretation of culture texts. Of course it is just an attempt, which is a little far-fetched butit still remains interesting and scientifically stimulating.
