Summary/Abstract: Gadamer tries to point out the method of decoding Paul Celan’s texts. The very formulation of the titleindicates that nor semantic neither phenomenological approach can be chosen here as fundamental.Analyzing a poem DU DARFST (YOU CAN) Gadamer points out that semantic approach is able to disclosethe multidimensionality (polysemanticism) of poetic vocabulary, whereas phenomenological approachallows this multidimensionality to speak out, that is, to form the integrity of meaning.
