Summary/Abstract: The aim of the work is to study the specifics of Internet semantics as a universal information and cultural space that causes the production of works of post-folklore type. The methodology of the research consists in the application of analytical, culturological and semiotic methods in the study of the semantic features of the Internet space and the formation of postfolklore type products in the Internet communication environment; The comparative method is in comparing the functioning of the transmission of folklore and post-folklore type. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that for the first time the characteristic features of the semantics of the Internet space as a medium for the formation of post-folklore products whose structural content is determined by the symbolic-symbolic basis of this space are investigated. Conclusions. The research revealed that the Internet space is a complex system of communicative and cultural relations, which form a multi-valued environment for the formation and functioning of texts. This environment is a way of symbolic-symbolic communication, thus objectifying the reality and expanding the ways of social interaction, which are mediated by Internet communication. The prevalence of post-folklore and virtual consciousness and thinking, which operate with symbols and images, mythologems connected with the same symbolic-sign environment of Internet communication, formed a segment of post-folklore products, defined by its semantics, and which reflect the realities of being, ideas and values in symbols.
