Summary/Abstract: This study explores the subject of sym-bolic consumption with specific references to different valueladen aspects (desirable, favourable, lovely, new, old, shareable, useful, useless, and valuable) of product choices. 75 delinquent adolescents aged 10- 17 years were matched with a control group, whereby the number of matched controls was fivefold - 375. The research gives an insight into the differences between two study groups´ consumption choices, helps to extend research field outside of juvenile nondelinquent context, and also discusses this issues in terms of symbolic consumption. Overall, symbolic multiple valueladen aspects of product choices can be viewed as an essential mean in differentiating youngsters´ delinquent symbolic selfexpression from nondelinquent in the field of past and future self, as well as outwardinward and symbolic-instrumental dimensions of the extended self.
