In Memory of Algis Uždavinys

Summary/Abstract: On July 25, 2010, passed away Algis Uždavinys a Habilitated Doctor of humanities, a professor of Arts Faculty and head of the Kaunas Department of Humanities of Vilnius Arts Academy. He was talented Lithuanian philosopher, inquisitive researcher of culture, and subtle art critic. From the very beginning of Logos magazine renewal in 1990, he was a prolific contributor of high quality articles concerning various problems of the mentioned research fields. His death is the great bereavement to the intellectual community of Lithuania.
