Summary/Abstract: Our study aims at emphasizing Vasile Moga’s bishopric through the documents conserved in the ,,Trei Scaune Orthodox Archpriestship” from the Archive of the ,,Metropolitan Nicolae Colan” Ecclesiastical Center of Documentation and at the Covasna County Service of the National Archives. This study contributes to a better acknowledgment of the history of the Romanian Churches from Transylvania, in particular, from the former Siculian chairs, debunking cliches and prejudices from the Hungarian historiography about the Romanians living in these territories. The analysis brings into spotlight the bishop Vasile Moga’s personality, his interest in consolidating the Orthodox ecclesiastical life from Transylvania, realizing a radiography of the realities from the multi-ethnic and plural-confessional sphere of the former Siculian chairs. Following a comparative analysis of the archivistic sources, the author of this study concludes that Vasile Moga’s bishopric has been a period of transition between the Serbian bishoprics and Andrei Şaguna’s archpriestship. The study is accompanied by a series of documents transliterated in a welcomed addendum for the present restoring enterprise.
