Summary/Abstract: Pursuing the goal of reaching the political power and the complete turn-over and change of the society, the Yugoslav Communist Party run the active propaganda war, besides the struggle against the occupiers and ideological enemies. Following that strategy and aims, during the 1941, and party newsletter Borba (The Struggle) was launched. This newsletter received importance when the Communist Partisan took power in the most of Serbia and capital of Belgrade in late 1944. It started to be a daily newspaper since second half of the November 1944. Tasks and aims of the Borba newspaper were propaganda of the Communist Party ideology and active fight against all the „elements“ which were against it. Besides, it was included in the wider effort of the developing of the Marshall Tito’s personal cult, propaganda of the Partisan „People’s Liberating Army”, glorifying the Soviet Union and Stalin especially. The Borbacriticized pre-war regime, and actively attacked all ideological opponents to the Communist Party. It has an active role in electoral campaign („agitation“) in November 1945 elections. Although, a party newspaper, the Borba’saim was population which migrate from the rural to urban areas and it was perceived as future working class. Kew articles were written by the most prominent party members or activists tasked for the political and propaganda work. Author marked that Borbahas fulfilled the devoted tasks and proclaimed ideological aims.
