Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the work is to study post-folklore texts as precedent phenomena in the Internet communication environment. Methodology. The methodology of the research consists in the application of analytical, semiotic and culturological methods in the studying of precedent phenomena that are an integral part of both verbal and visual works of post-folklore and enhance to their communicative opportunities and create a social cultural context. Scientific Novelty. The scientific novelty of the research is the fact that for the first time, the post-folklore texts of the Internet network have been studied as precedent phenomena. It helps to understand the actual reality in the Internet space environment. The varieties of the post-folklore precedent phenomena in the segment of the Ukrainian Internet space and the sources of their formation are analysed. Conclusions. The author has found out that the precedent phenomena that are closely connected with intertextuality as the main principle of building the postmodern text, are fully reflected in the modern media discourse and in particular in post-folklore works, formed in communicative Internet- Practices. In the game format, such post-folklore texts represent precedent names, events, phenomena and expressions that are known and shared by all / or many representatives of the national environment, and serve as a socio cultural context (background knowledge) in reading and deciphering the main ideas and values, manifested by the authors of these texts. The active involvement of precedent phenomena in post-folklore texts strengthens the communicative properties of the texts themselves, creating conditions for further collective creativity.
