Summary/Abstract: Ukrainian Video game Age Rating System in cultural aspect is examined in this article. The purpose of the work is to propose a system of creating Ukrainian Video game Age Rating System (UVARS – Ukrainian rating model computer video games), on the basis of comparative analysis of international rating systems of video games: (ESRB), (Pan), (CERɈ), and consider its impact on information culture in terms of a cultural aspect. Methodology. The research methodology is using of the method of comparative studies to analyse the international rating systems of video games (ESRB, Pan, CERO). Scientific Novelty. The system of the Ukrainian rating of computer video games (Ukrainian Video game Age Rating System) is proposed in accordance with international rating systems of video games (ESRB, Pan, CERɈ), which contains the following classifications. The main criteria are age groups (2+, 6+, 10+, 14+, 16+); logo ("A" = 2+ "B" = 6+ "C" = 10+, "D" = 14+, "E" = 16+) and the meaning of categories. The last one is determined with a partial record of proposals of international rating systems, as the ability to use animated violence, profanity and scenes, which contain sexual meaning. However, the educational games with using of Ukrainian traditions of education, the denying of harmful habits and religious hatred, cruelty, aggression are provided by the system of UVARS. The program is considered in the cultural aspect and contains a creative component for human development. Conclusions. The transcultural dimension of creative activity involves the use of cultural potential of the information space as the space of realization of the subject’s creativity in various game situations (concept of «infortataiment»). A prime example is video games are the best examples, which destroy the axiological sets of personality in some ways. We have proposed to create the system of the Ukrainian rating of computer video games (Ukrainian Videogame Age Rating System) according to the international rating systems of video games such as ESRB, Pan and CERɈ. The author also has considered the axiological foundations of Ukrainian tradition of humanism in the context.
