Summary/Abstract: This paper, dealing with a topic that not enough research was done on in the past, talks about poetry between the two world wars. It lights upon the societal frames, where the woman from that period should develop as a poet. It also presents the analyses of women’s representation in this period, not only in literature, but also in public and cultural life in general. It tries to point out the last lapses of critics, which obviously ignored many of the women poets from this period. The main part of this work presents the woman as a good example of a poet from this time, and also talks about poetry of women’s creativity. Three different schools of poetry are being discussed: the neo-impressionist, the social, and the one associated exclusively with women’s poetry.
