Summary/Abstract: The review is devoted to the functional and comparative studies of Ukrainian contemporary novel. The study was conducted on the material of the novel and short prose of the famous Ukrainian writer Vasyl Kozhelyanko, who is the founder of the genre of alternative history of Ukraine.
