Summary/Abstract: Virtual organization can apply a variety of information and communication technologies to support its activities. Contemporary information and communication technologies can be purchased and used in public computing cloud. The paper presents the possibility of supporting the business acitivity of virtual organizations with the information and communication technologies offered in the public cloud. It also identifies the benefits and threats connected with the usage of information and communication technology available in the public cloud in the activity of virtual organizations.
