E-servieces in Use – Social Needs and Barriers

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the issue of digital skills in polish society in the light of the latest data and their impact on the development of e-services. First is shown a definition and basic conditions of talking about e-services. Next, attempt to analyze the availability of ICT and digital literacy in society in 2015–2016. In the end, there is devoted to the causes of lack of access to the internet, low digital literacy and digital exclusion. An important component of each of these chapters is a reflection on the state of e-government in Poland.
