Summary/Abstract: The fourth Century AD is generally called the golden century of the Christian Church, because the most important fathers and teachers of the world, of which Christianity is proud, shined in this century. St. John Chrysostom belonging to this host of superior men, whose works, virtues and geniuses significantly influenced the destiny of Christianity, brings to this century an incomparable brilliance. This study presents the life, work and especially the outstanding personality of St. John, who decisively influenced Christianity with the example of his remarkable life, by working hard on the interpretation of the revealed texts of the Holy Scripture and by bequeathing the remarkable work to the Church of Christ for eternity.
