Summary/Abstract: In his works, Florian Znaniecki makes connections between empirical and theoretical sociologyin the way he perceives social issues and problems. The author believed that all fields of scienceare reflected in human behaviour and that an individual is a “measure of all things”. His approachtowards studying and explaining social reality takes into account the experience of an individual orcollectivity. The knowledge of Znaniecki’s sociological hypotheses is a crucial factor in the protectionof cultural and spiritual values which are displaced by increasing aggression and social callousness.
