Summary/Abstract: Currently, an early school education teacher is expected to have excellent professional competence including skills to facilitate each student’s most advantageous development. Teachers’ profession is one of the groups of jobs dependent on close interpersonal relationship with children, their parents and other school staff. Consequently, a teacher’s job is characterized by all sorts of daily emotive interactions which are likely to be the source of challenging and stressful situations. In the paper, the authoress presents research results covering three domains: the origin of teacher’s stress, most frequent stress – related symptoms, practical ways of stress and its outcomes management for I-III grades teachers.
