Summary/Abstract: Institute of National Remembrance is known for its wide range of publishing. Among the many books, those related to the history of the Church in the communist period, occupy a prominent place. It is similarly in Szczecin’s Branch of Institute of National Remembrance (former delegacy of the Branch in Poznań), which is operating since 2005. When in 2015 Institute of National Remembrance celebrated the 15th anniversary of activity in Poland, it also celebrated its 10th anniversary in Szczecin. As usual on such occasions, it is opportunity for making summary. One of them was to analyze the current state of research on the history of the Catholic Church in Western Pomerania and present achievements of employees Institute of National Remembrance in Szczecin in this field. Thanks to their great commitment and diligence West Pomeranian historiography of the Church increased by valuable monographs, collective works, source publications, educational materials, and other books. These are visible achievements, which in the article has been subjected to general characteristics. The basic request to be drawn after analyzing the achievements of employees IPN is that in each calendar year, appeared new publication about the history of the Church in Western Pomerania. Other publications will be created in future, for better understanding of the history of the Church in Western Pomerania.
