Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the problem of higher school: teachers don’t have the sufficient level of professional and pedagogical knowledge; don’t possess problem and active methods of training; are focused on a monological and information form of teaching; authoritarian orientation on communication with students is expressed. The factors providing the high level of pedagogical activity of higher school teachers are also offered.
