Summary/Abstract: Purpose – The aim of this paper is to characterize, based on selected English literature and the author’s own observations, the factors affecting the value of mobile applications. The paper presents special features of mobile applications, which necessitate a different approach to their analysis. Author goal was to select a universal set of factors affecting the value of the mobile application. Design/methodology/approach – The author presented a proposal on a set of factors based on our own observations and experience combined with the analysis of the available foreign literature. Findings – Proposal of measures both financial and non-financial factors affecting the value of mobile applications. Originality/value – The article is an attempt to present proposals for measures that could be useful to use when presenting periodic management reports, or in the comparative analysis of the valuation of an asset in the form of a mobile application.
