Summary/Abstract: Women make up more than half of the world population, and history has proven their great enthusiasm for gaining education and developing science. Their contribution is not overestimated. Today, we are faced with the fundamental necessity of unrestricted use of the potential of women in all disciplines. Not only to cross out centuries of dyslexia, but for the good of all, for the harmonious and dynamic development of society and for the sake of science itself. Representation of women in the research field is increasing, but they still have a problem of advancing to and reaching higher career levels. The article presents the presence and success of women in various fields of science. Statistics show that while half of people receiving a Ph.D. in science and technology these are women, they represent only one-fifth of all professors. For women it is hard to go through the stages of their careers, so getting to know the causes of these is difficult, as well as counteracting them, is an important social issue discussed later in this article.
