Public policies as a process

Summary/Abstract: This article is an attempt at synthesizing the most important public policy topics. The starting point is a review of the definitions found in the literature and the explanation of some conceptual nuances in both Polish and English languages. The publication presents, the most important elements influencing the shape of a specific public program were discussed and continues to describe the ensuing stages steps of the public policy cycle. The final part centres on the last stage steps of the public policy process, which is evaluation. It describes the way it should be understood and applied for public policy research.
