The legal status of the Executive power in France and Russia: a comparative analysis

Summary/Abstract: In this article the author provides a comparative legal analysis of the status of the Executive power in Russia and in France. The author analyzes the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and of the French Constitution and other laws of these countries. The analysis is also based on the overview of different scientific literary sources, both Russian and French. The article describes similar features of the Executive authorities of these two countries, and differences. In the end, the author comes to the conclusion on a partial similarity of the legal status of Executive authorities in the Russian Federation and in the Republic of France.
